    Course Overview

    The diploma in Healthcare Information Technology is designed to equip the students with the knowledge, skills and attitude to enable them harness and implement clinical skills, conduct research and be able to advance academically in order to provide and improve the health delivery from the rural health facilities all the way to the National and International level

    Course Objectives

    By the end of the programme, the learners will have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills that will enable the learners to:-

    To equip students with both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills pertaining to clinical practice

    To produce graduates who can apply effectively and efficiently the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in maintaining and securing patients health records.

    To prepare students for progression to higher level of studies in their fields of specialization

    Training Format: 

    • All materials are made available through our Online Learning Platform

    • Students should commit approximately 5-6 hours of their time per week

    Materials Provided: 

    Online delivery of curriculum materials, exercises and templates.

    Assignments: 

    In order to demonstrate their understanding of the course content, students will be required to submit assignments at the end of every month.
